Taco Bell is tapping into the power of nostalgia with the launch of its "Nostalgic Menu," now available at select Southern California locations. Starting today, the fast-food giant is testing this special menu at three restaurants in Fullerton, Irvine, and Brea, Calif., featuring some of its most beloved items from past decades.

The limited-time menu aims to satisfy the cravings of fans who fondly remember these classic offerings, with the potential for a nationwide rollout later this year, Taco Bell stated.

The menu showcases items from each decade, beginning with the 1960s Tostada, a crispy corn shell layered with refried beans, tangy red sauce, lettuce, and shredded cheese, priced at $2.19. From the 1970s, the Green Burrito returns, filled with refried beans, onions, cheddar cheese, and a green sauce made with green chile, tomatillos, and jalapeños, available for $2.49. The 1980s Meximelt, priced at $2.99, features a blend of three cheeses melted with seasoned beef in a tortilla, the company announced.

The 1990s bring back the Beef Gordita Supreme, a $2.99 flatbread stuffed with seasoned beef, sour cream, lettuce, and a three-cheese blend. Finally, the 2000s are represented by the Caramel Apple Empanada, a $2.99 treat with a crispy exterior filled with apple and caramel-flavored filling, according to Taco Bell.
