An upper-level trough will bring below-normal temperatures to inland Northern California through the weekend.

Rain is likely in Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties on Saturday, with a slight chance of thunderstorms, particularly in Humboldt and Del Norte counties.

Breezy winds are expected this afternoon in Lake and eastern Mendocino counties, with gusts reaching 25-30 mph, the NWS stated.

Marine clouds and dense fog may return tonight along the coast, with temperatures slightly warming to the upper 80s and low 90s by Friday.

The weather pattern will shift early next week, with temperatures gradually returning to normal but still remaining below average.
