A recent study by WorkProud has provided fresh insights into the ongoing debate over remote versus in-office work, revealing that hybrid work models may offer significant benefits in employee engagement and company pride.

The research, which surveyed 1,000 full-time employees across various industries, found no substantial difference in company pride between on-site and remote workers. However, hybrid workers—those who split their time between home and the office—showed notably higher levels of pride and engagement. This group also rated their company's direction more favorably compared to their fully on-site or remote counterparts.

Dr. Rick Garlick, the lead researcher, highlighted the findings during a recent webinar: "Hybrid workplaces, where employees are not fully remote but also don't come to the office every day, yield higher or more elevated pride levels among employees." He added, "If there was a winner among the various situations, then hybrid seemed to bring the strongest levels of engagement."

The study offers valuable insights for businesses looking to refine their workforce strategies, suggesting that a balanced hybrid model may enhance overall employee satisfaction and commitment.
