Marriott International Opens Its 9,000th Property: The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort in Florida

Marriott International has celebrated a major milestone with the grand opening of The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort in Longboat Key, Florida. As the company's 9,000th property, this luxury beachfront resort spans 18 acres and features 168 elegantly designed guestrooms, including 26 suites, with stunning ocean views. The resort also boasts 69 private branded residences offering luxurious living on Florida's Suncoast.

Developed by Unicorp National Developments and designed by SB Architects, Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA Miami), and Dutch East Design, The St. Regis Longboat Key marks the largest development on the island in over 50 years. The resort's opening was celebrated with a champagne sabrage in the Great Hall overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.

Anthony Capuano, President and CEO of Marriott International, emphasized the significance of this opening in showcasing the St. Regis brand’s elegance and sophistication. The resort enhances Marriott's global luxury portfolio, which includes seven brands across 522 properties in 72 countries, and a strong pipeline of 233 projects.
