Alaska Airlines is expanding its presence in Portland, adding over 20 daily departures this summer to popular destinations, increasing capacity by 25 percent, the Seattle-headquartered carrier announced last week.

As the largest carrier in Portland for more than 20 years, Alaska Airlines is committed to offering guests more choices and convenience.

"We know travelers have a choice, and we want them to fly with us," said Kirsten Amrine, vice president of revenue management and network planning.

The airline's premium travel experience, including the most legroom in First Class and a generous loyalty program, is now being promoted through a new campaign in key West Coast markets.

Additionally, due to high demand, Alaska Airlines is increasing flights between Portland and Redmond/Bend starting October 1 and extending seasonal nonstops to Billings, Kansas City, and Minneapolis through the end of the year.

    Tickets are available at alaskaair.com.
