Seattle and the surrounding region are in for a stormy Sunday as a strong upper-level low moves northeast off the Washington coast. Early Sunday morning, showers and thunderstorms will impact areas east of Interstate 5, with more activity expected to develop west of I-5 later in the day. While some storms may be intense, severe weather is not anticipated. The unsettled weather will persist through the week, with additional showers and thunderstorms as upper-level troughing continues. Temperatures will range from the mid-70s to low 70s, with some areas seeing brief clearing before the next round of precipitation arrives Tuesday, the NWS stated.
