Dr Pepper has kicked off the college football season with the highly anticipated return of its satirical drama series, Fansville, now in its seventh season. The first two episodes, "Into the Great Unknown" and "Hype Train," were released today, diving into the latest trends and uncertainties in college football following significant changes to the sport.

This season of Fansville captures the excitement surrounding the 12-team playoff expansion, new two-minute warning rule, and conference realignments. The first episode teases Dr Pepper's new NIL partnership with Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers, while the second reflects on the media frenzy overhyped teams, reminiscent of last season's "Colorado Hype Train."

In addition to the new episodes, Dr Pepper is collaborating with emerging fashion designer Nigel Xavier to create Dr Pepper-inspired football outfits throughout the season. Known for his innovative designs, Xavier will debut the first piece, a custom jacket, in the "Hype Train" episode. This jacket will be available exclusively through Dr Pepper Perks starting November 1, 2024.

"Dr Pepper is ingrained in college football culture," said Andrew Springate, Chief Marketing Officer for Keurig Dr Pepper. "As we celebrate our 10th anniversary as the Official Sponsor of the College Football Playoffs, we are excited to engage with fans, both new and old, through this season of Fansville and our collaboration with Nigel Xavier."
