Doritos is making history by sending its first-ever space-ready snack, the limited-edition minis COOL RANCH® Zero Gravity Flavored Tortilla Chips, into space. These specially formulated chips are designed to keep their zesty flavor intact in zero gravity, ensuring astronauts can enjoy the iconic taste without any mess.

This innovative venture is part of Doritos' collaboration with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Polaris Dawn mission, aimed at raising awareness and support for childhood cancer treatment. Doritos has also pledged a $500,000 donation to St. Jude, encouraging fans to join the cause by donating at StJude.org/DoritosInSpace for a chance to try these out-of-this-world snacks in glow-in-the-dark packaging.

The mission is set to lift off no earlier than August 26, marking a bold new chapter in snack innovation and charitable giving. "The limitless possibilities of space inspired us to push the boundaries of what's possible," said Chris Bellinger, Chief Creative Officer of PepsiCo Foods North America.
