Royal Caribbean International has unveiled details about its upcoming cruise ship, Star of the Seas, set to debut in August 2025. The new vessel will operate from Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida, and promises an extensive array of experiences designed to cater to every type of vacationer.

The Star of the Seas will feature a diverse range of amenities and activities, including the largest waterpark at sea, six record-breaking waterslides, and a neighborhood called Surfside tailored for young families. Highlights include a new 1930s-inspired restaurant, Lincoln Park Supper Club, and the Hideaway, an adults-only area with a suspended infinity pool.

The ship will offer 7-night Caribbean cruises and visits to Royal Caribbean's private destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay. Its design incorporates eight distinct neighborhoods, each offering unique experiences—from adrenaline-pumping attractions to relaxing pool areas.

Michael Bayley, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean International, emphasized the ship's role in expanding their innovative vacation offerings, blending beach retreats, resort escapes, and theme park adventures into one comprehensive travel experience.

Star of the Seas will join Royal Caribbean’s fleet alongside the recently launched Oasis Class ship, Utopia of the Seas, providing travelers with a range of options for both extended and short getaways. The new Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in The Bahamas, scheduled for late 2025, will further enhance Royal Caribbean's vacation portfolio.
