PepFilmStudios, a new film production company, is excited to unveil its inaugural project: "Oakland Madhouse." This upcoming comedy sitcom, inspired by shows like Meet the Browns, The Office, and Friends, centers around a tight-knit group of friends navigating the highs and lows of life while supporting their cherished community.

Created by Derrick Peprah, who moved from Ghana to the U.S. in 2012 and found his filmmaking passion in Oakland, the series is a heartfelt tribute to the city. Peprah and his team at PepFilmStudios aim to deliver a blend of humor and emotional depth with top-tier production quality.

"Oakland Madhouse" features twelve characters, with eight leads and four supporting roles. Casting is set to conclude by September 2024, with production beginning in early February 2025. The show has already garnered attention on social media, with teaser videos averaging 15k views and strong community support.
