Cousins Maine Lobster is expanding its presence in Illinois with the launch of its third food truck in Chicago.

The grand opening, led by franchisees Yunus and Thameem Shahul, will take place on Saturday, August 24th, at Standard Meadery in Villa Park, IL.

The Shahul brothers have been with Cousins Maine Lobster since 2018 and are spearheading a seven-leg expansion in Illinois, which will include two more food trucks and two brick-and-mortar restaurants.

Known for their famous lobster rolls, chowder, and whoopie pies, Cousins Maine Lobster has become a popular food truck partner for breweries, wineries, and local events.

The grand opening celebration at Standard Meadery will feature a prize wheel with opportunities to win Cousins Maine Lobster apparel, free food, and more.
