For the second time this month, someone has hit the Powerball jackpot, this time with a winning ticket sold in California. The lucky winner matched all six numbers—1, 2, 15, 23, 28, and 10—in Monday night’s draw to claim the $44.3 million grand prize. The ticket was purchased at Ralphs on Golden Lantern in Dana Point.

This marks the seventh Powerball jackpot win of the year and the second major win in less than a week for Orange County, where a ticket sold in Newport Coast recently won over $1 million in the Mega Millions draw.

The California Lottery will not know the identity of the winner until they come forward, which they have one year to do. The jackpot's cash value is $21.9 million, and Ralphs will receive a bonus of over $220,000 for selling the winning ticket.

California Lottery players have another chance to win big tonight, with the Mega Millions jackpot currently estimated at $498 million. For every Powerball and Mega Millions ticket sold in California, approximately 80 cents goes toward funding public education.
