Texas restaurant empire built on the best Chicken Salad expands with new location

Chicken Salad Chick, the nation’s only fast-casual chicken salad restaurant, is expanding its presence in San Antonio with a new location at 6010 UTSA Blvd. in the Road Runner Creek shopping center.

The local ownership team of James Oberg, Jeff Rochelle, and George Shaw, who first introduced the brand to San Antonio last year, is celebrating the opening of their fourth restaurant in the area on Wednesday, August 28.

To mark the grand opening, the first 100 guests will receive free chicken salad for a year, with the first guest in line earning a large Quick Chick of chicken salad per week for an entire year. The opening week will also feature a series of special giveaways, including free tote bags and water bottles for early customers.
