While no one won the jackpot in last Friday's Mega Millions draw, a ticket purchased at Pavilions in Newport Beach matched five numbers, earning the holder $1,016,356. The winning numbers were 22, 38, 48, 51, 61, and Mega number 5.

The California Lottery will reveal the winner's identity once they claim their prize, which must be done within six months. With no top prize winner, the Mega Millions jackpot has rolled over to an estimated $498 million for Tuesday night's draw. Each ticket sold in California contributes about 80 cents to fund public education.
