California Lottery players are celebrating a wave of big wins, as seven lucky Scratchers players across the state have collectively won $15 million in prizes. The largest prize was claimed by John Green, who won $5 million with a California State Riches Scratchers purchased at an ARCO on Winchester Road in Temecula.

Four other players struck it rich with the popular Instant Prize Crossword game, each winning $2 million. Monica Mazariegos bought her winning ticket at Code 66 Smoke Shop in Fullerton, while Mamikon Zakaryan won with a ticket from Dales Jr. Liquors in Hollywood. Jose Lopez purchased his winning ticket at T Mart in Castroville, and Foad Ishak’s winning ticket came from Copper Lamp Liquor in Monrovia.

In addition, Aurelio Chayrez claimed a $1 million prize with an Ice Cool Scratchers from a Chevron on South Tracy Boulevard in Tracy. Salvador Zarate rounded out the list of winners with a $1 million prize from a $1 Million Ultimate Cash! Scratchers, purchased at the Quick Stop in Freedom.
