The National Weather Service in San Diego has provided an updated forecast for the region, indicating slight weather changes in the coming days. Coastal and valley areas will experience a minor cooling trend on Wednesday and Thursday due to a deepening marine layer, with temperatures dropping slightly. Inland areas, particularly the deserts, will continue to see warmer temperatures, about 5 degrees higher than Monday. While there will be a slight increase in monsoonal moisture on Thursday and Friday, the chances of measurable rainfall in the mountains remain low, with thunderstorm chances below 15 percent. A warming trend is expected to start next week as high pressure builds, bringing temperatures back to above-average levels.
