A fortunate lottery player in Northern California has struck gold with a Powerball ticket worth $1.18 million. The winning ticket was purchased at Romey’s Liquor Store in Woodland, located at 3 Purity Plaza.

The ticket matched five out of the six numbers drawn in Saturday's Powerball drawing, missing only the Powerball number. The numbers drawn were 4, 34, 35, 38, 69, with the Powerball being 19.

While the ticket did not secure the $69 million jackpot, it still represents a substantial win for the lucky holder. The prize of $1.18 million is before taxes, according to the California Lottery officials.
