Six California Lottery Scratchers players are celebrating a scorching summer of success, collectively taking home an astounding $22 million in top prizes. These lucky winners, scattered across the state, have turned ordinary days into extraordinary ones with their life-changing wins.

Tomas Garcia of Oxnard is among the fortunate few, winning $2 million with an Instant Prize Crossword ticket he purchased at Pat Holden Liquor. The store's owner, George Jobeh, was thrilled to hear about another big win at his establishment. "We found out from the customer that he had won," Jobeh shared. "Our customers love it. We are one of the lucky spots." This marks the third major win for Pat Holden Liquor, which has previously sold two $1 million-winning tickets. "We have a friendship with the customers. We appreciate them, and they appreciate us," Jobeh added.

The Instant Prize Crossword game continued its winning streak for two other Californians. Miguel Barrera-Caro, who bought his ticket at South City Gas in Cudahy, and Debi Nguyen, who purchased hers at Tuong Vi Ice Cream and Café in San Jose, both struck it rich, each winning $2 million.

But the biggest winner of the summer is David Rodriguez, who hit the jackpot with a $10 million prize from a California 200X Scratchers ticket he bought at a 7-Eleven on Sepulveda Boulevard in Culver City. Rodriguez’s win is one of the largest in recent California Lottery history.

Calvin Smith from Victorville also had a taste of fortune, winning $5 million with a California State Riches Scratchers ticket he purchased at Joe’s Market. The ticket’s name certainly lived up to its promise for Smith, who now joins the ranks of California’s newest millionaires.

Finally, Hector Guarchaj rounds out this lucky group with a $1 million win on a Power 10’s Scratchers ticket from Lee’s Liquor on 6th Street in Los Angeles.

These remarkable wins highlight the incredible possibilities that California Lottery Scratchers offer. With a total of $22 million in prizes claimed, these six winners are proof that a little bit of luck can lead to a whole lot of fortune.
