In response to Florida’s recent removal of LGBTQ+ travel information from its official tourism website, Connecticut is doubling down on its commitment to inclusivity. With LGBTQ+ History Month approaching in October, Connecticut’s tourism office is highlighting the state’s long-standing tradition of diversity, reminding residents and visitors alike that it is a welcoming place for all.

"We want everyone, particularly those feeling sidelined in other states, to know that Connecticut is a place of acceptance," said Anthony Anthony, Chief Marketing Officer for Connecticut. The state has earned top rankings for its LGBTQ+ business climate and maintains a strong stance on equal rights, with protections and resources that ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all.
