Big Lots Announces Return of ‘Black Friday Fridays’ for 2024, Offering Huge Discounts Every Friday

Big Lots is bringing back its popular 'Black Friday Fridays' event, offering shoppers Black Friday-level deals every Friday through December 6. The sales kick off this Friday, September 13, with 50% off all Halloween décor for one day only. Each Friday, customers can snag special one-day deals with discounts of up to 50% on a range of products, from seasonal décor to gifts.

Bruce Thorn, President and CEO of Big Lots, emphasized the company’s goal to help shoppers maximize savings during the holiday season. "With family budgets stretched again this year, Big Lots is offering early access to some of our biggest Black Friday deals," said Thorn.

The event comes just after Big Lots’ acquisition of overstock from a national party supply retailer, which includes hundreds of Halloween items being sold at 50-70% off their original prices. The Halloween closeout collection will also be part of the Friday the 13th deal.

New deals will be announced every Thursday, and bargain hunters can sign up for free as BIG Rewards members to receive updates. Additionally, on Friday, Sept. 13, Big Lots Foundation will match donations to The Kids Mental Health Foundation, up to $50,000, with customers receiving a $5 coupon for donations.
