    OAKLAND, CA –Oakland soccer fans have another chance to invest in their favorite teams as the Oakland Roots and Soul launched their second community investment round today. The teams are offering fans an opportunity to own a stake, with a valuation set at $93 million, the teams stated.

    In their first investment round last year, the teams raised over $3 million, making contributors partial owners of the clubs. This success, marked by notable investors like Jason Kidd, Marshawn Lynch, G-Eazy, and Billie Joe Armstrong, was the largest community investment in American sports history. Now, the teams aim to raise another $3 million.
