A large low-pressure system is bringing autumn-like weather to Nevada and California, with gusty winds and cooler temperatures expected through midweek. The system, currently moving through Northern California, will pass over Nevada by tonight, causing widespread south to southwest winds.

A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM tonight, with gusts reaching up to 40 MPH, particularly in areas such as Mohave County and the western Mojave Desert. Winds are expected to decrease overnight as the low moves eastward, and no further wind impacts are anticipated beyond Tuesday morning.

Temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday will drop 10 to 15 degrees below average, with highs much cooler than typical for this time of year. Another trough of low pressure will arrive by midweek, bringing a slight chance of showers, but any precipitation is expected to be light and non-impactful.
