This fall, Alaska Airlines is ramping up its Southern California presence by adding new nonstop routes and expanding service to popular West Coast destinations. Starting October 1, 2024, the airline will launch its 39th nonstop destination from San Diego with service to Las Vegas. New flights will also connect Los Angeles to Pasco and bring back the popular Los Angeles to Reno route.

In addition to these new services, Alaska is increasing capacity by over 25% on existing routes from Los Angeles, including flights to Seattle, Portland, San Jose, and Santa Rosa, solidifying its position as a leading West Coast carrier. This marks Alaska’s largest Southern California schedule in recent years, catering to the growing demand for convenient travel options across the region.

What do you mean bring back the popular la to reno route. September 2021 when we flew from Fairbanks to reno via Seattle, our flight from Seattle got canceled. The next day we flew Seattle to LA to reno. LA to Reno was on an Embraer 175.
