Paradise, CA – Caltrans District 3 has issued a traffic alert for motorists traveling on State Route 191 near Paradise, where one-way traffic control will be in effect between Airport Road and Easy Street. This is part of an $18.3 million project aimed at stabilizing fire-damaged slopes and improving overall roadway safety in the area.

    Construction Schedule:

    • Dates: Daily from now until October 5, with potential changes due to weather or other unforeseen events.
    • Hours: 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Crews will be conducting paving work, and a pilot car will guide vehicles through the construction zone. Motorists should expect delays of 20 to 30 minutes and are encouraged to plan extra time for their commutes.

This safety project is set to be completed by November 2024. Caltrans advises drivers to remain cautious, follow traffic signals, and be patient while the necessary improvements are made to the highway.
