The closure will take place from Friday, October 4, at 10 PM to Monday, October 7, at 5 AM as crews conduct emergency barrier repairs following previous vehicle collisions.

During this time, all lanes of the connector will be shut down, causing significant disruptions. Motorists traveling northbound from San Jose are urged to follow these detour instructions:

1. Take eastbound I-80 to the 7th Street offramp.
2. Turn left onto 7th Street, traveling under the freeway.
3. Turn left to access the 7th Street onramp back to US-101.
