California’s newest In-N-Out Burger to open down the road from where one just closed

Hayward, CA – In-N-Out Burger, the iconic California-based fast food chain known for its made-to-order hamburgers, real ice cream shakes, and fresh fries, is expanding its footprint in the Golden State. Beginning October 3, 2024, the newest In-N-Out location will open its doors at 709 Harder Avenue in Hayward, marking another chapter in the brand’s storied history that began in 1948.

Founded by Harry Snyder, In-N-Out revolutionized fast food by launching California’s first drive-thru hamburger stand. Today, more than 75 years later, the brand continues to stand by its commitment to fresh, quality ingredients and exceptional service. The Hayward location will be no exception, featuring freshly made burgers and fries hand-diced from whole potatoes, all prepared by a dedicated team of Associates.

The Hayward restaurant will feature one drive-thru lane, indoor seating for 84 guests, and a covered outdoor patio that can accommodate 28 additional diners. As with all In-N-Out locations, the new store will operate daily from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., extending its hours to 1:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays to serve late-night customers.
