Heatwave Continues in San Francisco Bay Area, Relief Expected Soon

As the Bay Area bakes under another day of intense heat, the National Weather Service (NWS) has extended its Excessive Heat Warnings and Heat Advisories until 11 PM tonight. The region has experienced several consecutive days of high temperatures, with no immediate relief in sight for inland areas. However, there is some hope for cooler weather as early as Monday, according to the latest forecast.

In today's Area Forecast Discussion from the NWS, meteorologists warn that the region is experiencing widespread major-to-moderate heat risk. While temperatures are expected to rise slightly today compared to Saturday, a potential southerly marine surge could provide some cooling relief along coastal areas, including Santa Cruz, the Peninsula, and parts of San Francisco. This surge, however, could lead to drastic temperature differences across the city.

I prayed to rain God and he answered me by saying 20 degrees lower by next week. Prayers do work.
