United Airlines has announced its largest-ever international expansion, introducing service to eight new cities starting in summer 2025. Among the new destinations are Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia; Kaohsiung, Taiwan; Nuuk, Greenland; Palermo, Italy; Bilbao, Spain; Madeira Island, Portugal; Faro, Portugal; and Dakar, Senegal. This ambitious plan includes five new nonstop flights from Newark/New York and three from Washington D.C./Dulles, marking a significant increase in United’s transatlantic presence.
