San Francisco’s famous fog grounded the highly anticipated Blue Angels air show on Saturday during Fleet Week. The iconic flight team, known for their acrobatic displays, had to cancel their scheduled 3 p.m. performance due to unsafe flying conditions caused by the dense fog blanketing the city.

“The Blue Angels conducted an observation flight and determined that due to the fog it was not safe to fly,” Fleet Week SF announced on X, reassuring fans that the show would return on Sunday. “They'll be back tomorrow. If you missed the action today, get ready for a great show tomorrow!”

The Blue Angels, featuring F/A-18 Super Hornets, have been thrilling spectators since arriving on Thursday, with their powerful jets shaking windows and streaking across the San Francisco skyline.
