California, Arizona plumbing outfit helps install water-saving toilets for deserving senior citizens

Rooter Hero Plumbing & Air, a leading plumbing and HVAC company operating in California and Arizona, has teamed up with the Watts Labor Community Action Committee (WLCAC) to install two free water-efficient toilets for a senior resident in the community. This initiative is part of Rooter Hero's charitable program, Hero Helps, aimed at making a positive impact in the areas they serve.

The collaboration was prompted when WLCAC reached out to Rooter Hero regarding a local senior whose toilet was continuously running, potentially wasting up to 4,000 gallons of water daily. This issue not only posed an environmental concern but also threatened to inflate the resident's utility bills. "When the WLCAC reached out, we knew we had to help," said John Akhoian, co-founder and CEO of Rooter Hero. "Replacing these two toilets was another way for us to assist a member of the area in need of plumbing help."

Hero Helps is dedicated to partnering with charities to give back to the community. Rooter Hero has previously supported various local initiatives, including installing home service equipment at the Good Shepherd Center for Women and Children, providing meals to the Ronald McDonald House, and participating in environmental efforts like planting trees and cleaning beaches on Earth Day.
