A recent study by Class Central, an online course search engine, has unveiled the most coveted career aspirations of Generation Z, indicating a clear preference for creative roles over traditional professions. The research highlights that members of Gen Z are more inclined to pursue careers as influencers, artists, or models rather than as teachers, doctors, or lawyers.

“This study demonstrates that Gen Z is drawn toward the more creative industries, especially those intertwined with social media, such as blogging and influencing,” said Dhawal Shah, CEO of Class Central.

To compile the rankings, researchers analyzed the volume of career-related hashtags on Instagram, including popular tags like #Modellife, #Doctor, and #Influencer. Following closely, "artist" secured the second position with over 345 million posts, while "photographer" came in third with more than 268 million posts. The top five also featured "makeup artist" at fourth place with approximately 149 million posts, and "blogger" at fifth with around 127 million posts.
