The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area have announced a new partnership with Coastline Academy, the largest driving school in the nation, to provide free driving lessons for Club members. This initiative includes 32 hours of self-paced online instruction through DMV-approved courses, along with 14 hours of behind-the-wheel training with a qualified instructor.

Access to quality driver’s education is crucial for many young people, as obtaining a driver’s license fosters personal responsibility and enhances job opportunities. However, many students in the Austin area face challenges in securing their licenses due to the burdensome paperwork and costs associated with traditional driving courses.
