Walgreens to Close 1,200 Locations in Effort to Revitalize U.S. Business

Walgreens has announced plans to close approximately 1,200 locations across the United States over the next three years as part of a strategy to revitalize its struggling U.S. operations. While Walgreens operates around 8,500 stores in the U.S. and several thousand internationally, the company has not specified which locations will be affected by the closures.
