    California Cloud Computing Company Announces Dozens of Layoffs at Silicon Valley headquarters

    Gigamon, a cloud computing company owned by Elliott Investment Management, is set to lay off 69 workers from its Santa Clara headquarters, with the first wave of job losses occurring on New Year’s Eve. The company announced the layoffs in a WARN filing with the state on Thursday, which is a legal requirement for mass layoffs.

    According to the filing, the layoffs will occur in stages, beginning with 34 employees losing their jobs on December 31. This will be followed by 17 layoffs in January, eight in February, and another ten in March.
