Northern California sees wet, windy, chilly weather that will exit region quickly

The National Weather Service in San Francisco has issued a warning for Red Flag conditions from Thursday through Saturday due to an inside slider event. While today remains relatively calm, a weak cold front is expected to bring light coastal drizzle, mainly affecting the North Bay. However, with minimal precipitation recorded (less than 0.01 inches), the fire risk remains high as dry and gusty winds approach.

Residents are advised to secure outdoor Halloween decorations today, as gusty winds and increased fire danger are forecast for the coming days.

The National Weather Service urges caution and preparedness as dry conditions persist, emphasizing that today is a good day to take preventive measures ahead of the upcoming weather challenges.
