    In a recent survey conducted by LuvLink, 18 California cities were recognized for their kind and helpful residents, standing out among 150 cities across the U.S. Travelers highlighted these cities for their warm hospitality, making them feel welcomed and at home.

    Huntington Beach (#33) topped the list of California locales, where the laid-back surf culture extends to the friendliness of locals. Other notable mentions include Irvine (#38), where community-focused attitudes reflect the city’s innovation and modern living, and Oceanside (#39), where beach-loving residents share their love of the coast.

    Anaheim (#46), home to Disneyland, is known for its cheerful, family-friendly vibe, while smaller cities like Simi Valley (#53) and Fullerton (#58) were praised for their suburban charm and growing cultural scenes. Santa Clarita (#70), Thousand Oaks (#77), and Rancho Cucamonga (#122) stood out for their family-friendly activities and scenic surroundings.

    The survey also recognized the welcoming atmospheres of Santa Rosa (#88), Ontario (#95), Torrance (#97), and Riverside (#123), each known for their mix of natural beauty and urban vitality. Vallejo (#111), with its maritime heritage, and Modesto (#132), a central California farming hub, rounded out the list, showcasing the state’s diversity in kindness and hospitality across regions.
