Excited shoppers are already camping outside California's newest Costco store set to open Friday

Costco is set to open a long-awaited warehouse in Napa this week, marking a major addition to the area’s retail landscape. The new store, located at 280 Riversound Way on the former site of Napa Steel, will open its doors at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 18. The warehouse will feature a food court, gas station, tire center, pharmacy, optical department, and hearing aids.

Part of the larger Riversound development, which also includes new homes, parks, trails, and other retail establishments, the Costco gas station has already begun serving the public. The gas station operates from 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on weekdays, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays, and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.

Store hours for the Napa Costco, starting October 18, are 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on weekdays, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. The Napa location is one of eight new Costco openings this fall, including new warehouses in Spain, Mexico, Japan, Canada, and across the United States.
