Closest ski resort to Los Angeles is sold; New owner plans upgrades to entire property

Angeles Mountain Partners LLC (AMP) has announced the acquisition of Mt. Waterman Ski Lifts LLC, taking full management and operations of Mt. Waterman, Southern California's closest mountain resort to Los Angeles. Located just 60 minutes from downtown, the historic resort, founded in 1937, is known for its pristine powder and diverse terrain, offering adventure year-round, the owners stated.

AMP plans to enhance the resort with a new snowmaking system, a glamping village, and exclusive membership opportunities through the Waterman100 program. These upgrades aim to balance modern amenities with the mountain's natural beauty, creating a unique outdoor experience for LA's adventure seekers.
