Central California is set for a warming trend starting Saturday, with temperatures climbing through next week. Winds will increase today, especially in wind-prone areas, with a High Wind Warning in effect for the Mojave Desert Slopes until 11 PM, and Wind Advisories in place for Indian Wells Valley, the Mojave Desert, and the West Side Hills north of Highway 198. Cooler-than-average temperatures are expected today, with highs below 77 degrees and overnight lows dipping into the 40s. Some areas may see patchy dense fog early in the morning. By Sunday, temperatures in the San Joaquin Valley could exceed 85 degrees, reaching 5 to 10 degrees above normal.
