Weekend Weather: Dry Conditions with Rain Expected Sunday in Oregon and Southwest Washington

The National Weather Service in Portland has forecasted generally dry weather for today and Saturday across northwest Oregon and southwest Washington, with a warming trend expected. However, higher rain chances will persist in far southwest Washington.

Temperatures are set to climb above normal by Saturday, with milder overnight lows this weekend. This morning, areas have been drying out as a potent upper-level trough departs into the Great Basin, giving way to low amplitude ridging from the Pacific. Overnight lows dipped into the low 40s, with some locations reporting temperatures in the mid to upper 30s, prompting a Freeze Warning in the Upper Hood River Valley until 9 AM, and a Frost Advisory for the south Willamette Valley.
