Monterey Bay Aquarium, a gem in California, Celebrates 40th Anniversary with Free Tickets for Locals

The Monterey Bay Aquarium is celebrating its 40th anniversary on October 20, 2024, by offering free tickets to Monterey County residents throughout October. As a thank you for four decades of community support, the Aquarium is releasing a limited number of tickets in two batches. The first batch became available on September 10 for visits from October 1-15, and the second batch will be released on October 8 for visits from October 16-31.

Residents can reserve up to six tickets per reservation on the Aquarium’s website. All guests, including children under four, must have a ticket for entry, and visitors 18 and over must present proof of Monterey County residency. Entry times for these special tickets are between 12-4 p.m. on the reserved date.
