SWAP Food is making a mark in Chicago with the launch of SWAP™ Chicken, a plant-based whole filet chicken replacement. Crafted from a short list of clean label ingredients, SWAP Chicken aims to appeal to both plant-based skeptics and meat lovers, offering a savory flavor and muscle-like texture that mimics traditional chicken. With 19g of protein per 90g filet, it contains no GMOs, gluten, or cholesterol.

What sets SWAP Chicken apart is its versatility—it can be marinated, breaded, or cubed and used in any recipe without the need for menu changes. This innovation has already caught the attention of several Chicago restaurants, including The Chicago Diner and Spirit Elephant, which have added it to their menus.

SWAP Food’s CEO, Tristan Maurel, believes the product will help bridge the gap for mainstream consumers looking to reduce meat consumption without sacrificing taste or texture. As concerns over factory farming and health grow, SWAP Chicken provides a plant-based option that aims to meet those demands while keeping the culinary experience intact.
