American Airlines ramps up flights to warm weather cities from California, Texas hubs

American Airlines is set to enhance its winter travel offerings with new routes to stunning locations in Australia, Brazil, Hawaii, and Mexico, providing a perfect escape from the cold. Beginning in October, American will introduce daily service from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) to Brisbane, Australia (BNE), marking the first nonstop flights between the two cities. This route will connect travelers from over 100 U.S. destinations to the sun-soaked coastlines and vibrant culture of Queensland.

In addition to Brisbane, American will add service to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (GIG), starting October 27, and resume flights to Kona, Hawaii (KOA). This expansion includes up to four daily flights to Rio de Janeiro, ensuring more options for travelers eager to explore Brazil's beautiful beaches and landmarks. The airline will also restore second-daily service to Kahului, Hawaii (OGG) during the holiday season.

American's joint business with Qantas strengthens its international network, connecting travelers from major U.S. cities to four key Australian gateways, including Melbourne and Sydney. Tickets for these new routes will be available starting February 5, allowing travelers to plan their dream getaways to these exotic destinations.
