    Ingredients:

    • 4 lobster tails (about 6-8 ounces each)
    • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
    • 4 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
    • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
    • Salt and black pepper, to taste
    • Paprika or cayenne pepper (optional for added spice)
    • Lemon wedges, for serving

    Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Lobster Tails:
      • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or your grill to medium-high heat.
      • Using kitchen shears, cut through the top shell of each lobster tail down the middle, stopping just before the tail fin. Be careful not to cut the meat. Gently pull apart the shell slightly to expose the meat. Lift the meat and lay it on top of the shell, still attached at the base (this is called butterflying the lobster).
    2. Make the Garlic Butter:
      • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.
    3. Baste the Lobster:
      • Using a pastry brush, generously apply the garlic butter mixture over the lobster meat. Ensure the meat is well-coated for maximum flavor.
    4. Cook the Lobster Tails:
      • For Grilling: Place the lobster tails meat side down on the grill. Cook for about 5-6 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and the shells are bright red. Total cooking time should be approximately 60-75 seconds per ounce of lobster tail.
      • For Baking: Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is firm and opaque, and the internal temperature reaches 140-145°F (60-63°C).
    5. Serve:
      • Transfer the cooked lobster tails to a serving platter. Spoon any remaining garlic butter over the top and garnish with additional parsley and a sprinkle of paprika or cayenne pepper if desired. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

This elegant dish pairs beautifully with a variety of sides, such as a fresh green salad, steamed vegetables, or a light pasta. Enjoy your Florida lobster tail with garlic butter as a luxurious main course or an impressive appetizer.
