Iowa City man accused of pouring gasoline on victim during burglary reaches plea deal
An Iowa City man has reached a plea deal in a case involving him allegedly pouring gasoline on his victim during a residential burglary. Iowa City Police say in February of 2023 56-year-old Kieth Brookhart forced his way into a protected party’s bedroom, poured gasoline on the man, then struck him with a metal object multiple times. The man suffered multiple injuries.
