Tigers preparing to end losing skid on gridiron
The Hopkinsville Tigers football team will be looking to break a four-game losing streak dating back to last season on Friday night when it plays host to Mayfield. The Tigers, whose last football win came against Calloway County on Sept. 29 of last year, play host to the defending Class 2-A champions at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Stadium of Champions. The start of the game was postponed by 30 minutes due to heat.

Fort Campbell Tops Lady Tigers in Straight Sets
The Fort Campbell volleyball team earned its first win of the season on Thursday in straight sets over Hopkinsville, dropping the Lady Tigers to their second straight defeat.
