YAKIMA-A Wapato man accused of shooting his wife will not go to trial, according to the Yakima County Superior Court. First and second degree manslaughter charges against 81 year old Donald Leroy Lawrence by Yakima prosecutors have been dropped. The charges were dismissed without prejudice, which means that he can be prosecuted again based on the circumstances.
