Suspicious man booked on drug, traffic charges
A West Monroe man was arrested last week when a Lincoln Parish deputy saw him acting suspiciously and learned he was wanted on an outstanding warrant. Jesse W. Culpepper, 51, was arrested on drug and traffic charges in addition to a warrant. from Winn Parish at about 10:30 p.m. on July 9.

A woman in Texas paid two guys $100 to steal a man’s iPhone at gunpoint because it had “proof of her infidelities,” according to police. The situation was brought to light on June 25. According to a news release, Cameron County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 2300 block of Magdalena Avenue in Brownsville to investigate an aggravated robbery.
