Man on the run for 30+ years finally sentenced for shooting in Ringgold
CLAIBORNE PARISH, La. (KSLA) - A Bienville Parish man who was on the run for more than 30 years after shooting someone in Ringgold has now been sentenced. Greg Lawson, who is now 64-years-old, was caught in Mexico by the FBI in September of 2023 after being on the run for 32 years. Back in 1991, Lawson shot Seth Garlington, who was 19 at the time, in Ringgold in an incident that started as a fist fight.
