Deer Creek and Oak Cliff first responders say millage increase is needed to keep up with growth
DEER CREEK, Okla. — First responders in a fast-growing part of the Oklahoma City area said they need more money to keep residents safe. Deer Creek and Oak Cliff have a millage increase on the ballot next month, giving voters the opportunity to approve or deny the proposition on Aug. 7. Without funding, first responders said they won't be able to keep up with the growth.
